This is the second in my series of the Verde River paintings. I came upon this beautiful scene when we visited a friend's ranch. We hiked most of the day over 20 acres. The sun was striking the river just right bringing out the beautiful blue water and highlighting the bordering trees.
This was a fun day and I look forward to future paintings of the lovely East Verde River in Payson, Arizona.
