Indian Hills is located in the Anza Borego desert. My inspiration for this painting came from a crazy fun off road ride up the Mortero Wash. We spent an entire day enjoying the beauty of the desert, especially the blooming ocotillos. There are designated trails to travel on so that the natural desert landscape is not disturbed.
