Hardscrabble Overlook, Pine Arizona

I decided to take a long ride on my ATV up Hardscrabble Road in Pine, Arizona. After about 3 miles of dirt roads I came upon this amazing overlook where I could see a beautiful view of the south side of the small town of Pine and the Tonto National forest. I took a short walk down the hill and found these two vivid red-orange Maple trees that perfectly framed my view of the distant forest. I knew right away that I had to put this on canvas.

This painting is on a 16"x 20" x 1.5" linen canvas. As shown in the photos you will see the sides of the canvas are painted making this painting ready to hang.
